Laura Robinette Minor

Laura Robinette Minor earned her B.S. in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin and her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction in Science Education from The University of Texas at Arlington, with credentials from UTeach Academy of Innovative Teaching and Learning and the BACE Biotechnician Assistant Credential from Biotility and the University of Florida. She has experience teaching science in public and independent schools and has worked in curriculum construction in central Texas for school districts, universities, and textbook companies. Before teaching, Laura investigated the causes and effects of effluent waste on coastal ecosystems and is constantly looking for reasons to get back in the water. In her free time, Laura loves to learn, read, listen to and play music, rollerskate (quad), Irish dance (Saturdays), and spend time with her family and friends.
