Lower School

The St. Michael's Prep Lower School is a warm, welcoming place where children experience great joy: from the moment they enter Founders Hall each morning, through Morning Prayer and weekly Mass; as they play in daily physical education; create in art and music classes; serve others in the community; learn about the Catholic faith in religion classes; and grow and develop in their core academic subjects with their homeroom teachers.

The foundational academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual skills learned in the Lower School are the springboard from which our students launch successfully forward as they continue to grow and learn over the years ahead.

Middle School

At St. Michael's Prep Middle School, education is a four-year journey through which dedicated faculty collaborate to create and bring to life a challenging and enriching curriculum. With the integration of Innovation and STEAM across subject-areas, students experience the interrelatedness of their learning, as they develop into global citizens, independent thinkers, and responsible members of the community.

Our Middle School approach is a very intentional bridge as we nurture Lower School children into students who are ready for the challenges and independence of the Upper School.

Through expanded opportunities for choice and exploration of areas of interest, Middle School students learn within an envirionment of structured independence, embedded leadership experiences, increasing academic challenge, and faith and character development.

Upper School

The "Guided Pathway," by which our students obtain the St. Michael’s Prep Upper School experience that will carry them forward - personally, intellectually and spiritually, is how students discover where their talents and interests intersect, allowing them to become people who are confident and equipped for challenge and opportunity

Our highly skilled, enthusiastic teachers provide the structure and framework necessary for growth and advancement. In so doing, students realize the value and importance of their work, and become stakeholders in their own education.

Students learn from each other, distinguished faculty, and outside experts in an academic program designed with flexibility and a responsive curriculum for a changing academic landscape.

St. Michael’s Prep graduates acquire a solid college preparatory foundation in the academic core of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, Theology, and World Languages. Each student also develops an appreciation of the arts, and proficiency in computer science and public speaking. Students are also encouraged to pursue individual interests through independent study and elective courses.
St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School maintains dual accreditation by Independent Schools of the Southwest and the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops.
