Jess Alexander

All School Dining Manager
With over a decade of diverse culinary experience, Jess Alexander brings a rich background in food service and management to her  role as Director of Dining Services for St. Michael’s Prep. After serving for three years as Kitchen Manager and Chef for FLIK at St. Michael’s Prep Lower School, Jess stepped into the Director role in 2024, overseeing dining services with creativity and a passion for excellence.

Prior to joining St. Michael’s Prep, Jess honed her skills in corporate catering, spending seven years as Pastry Chef for G and M Culinary (Facebook Austin) and three years as Chef Manager for San Miguel Catering at Trinity Episcopal School in Austin. She also owned and operated a business specializing in wholesale desserts for local restaurants and coffee shops, working with renowned establishments like Franklin's BBQ, The W, and more through partnerships with bakeries like Sugar Mamas and Cake and Spoon.

Outside of work, Jess finds joy in cooking with her children, exploring the Austin food scene, and creating pottery. Her dedication to food, family, and creativity shines through in every aspect of their life and work.
