As a 5th-12th grade athletic program, the mission of the Athletic Department is to ensure that our student athletes boldly advance through their educational journey and on to college, and adulthood with a clear understanding of what it takes to win on the field and in life. Consistent success on the field or court requires the same personality traits and habits that are required for success in the classroom and then later in life as spouses, parents, employees, employers, and community leaders. Teaching our students how to win and be successful is the true measure of our excellence. At St. Michael's Prep, champions are not determined by the score, but rather champions are developed through the process and with a devotion to daily excellence.

Striving for Excellence
However, the scoreboard is not ignored. Wins and losses provide instant and valuable feedback that often accurately compares Warriors with their opponents. Warriors desire to be their best and fulfill their absolute potential. Therefore, we will practice and compete with a desire to win at each and every opportunity.
Passion, joy, and enthusiasm are required and must be present to fully teach cooperation, industriousness, initiative, confidence, and skill. At St. Michael's Prep, the athletic experience is positive for both student athletes and their families.
