Jeff Stone

Jeff Stone is the father to two energetic, dynamic St. Gabriel's students, Jackson and Liliana. Jeff and his wife, Kelly were thrilled to have Jackson participate in the inaugural (“OG”) Pre-K 3 program when it launched in 2017. Liliana followed two years later in big brother’s footsteps. In addition to being Jackson and Lulu’s dad, Jeff is currently Managing Director at Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm. He is an accomplished private equity executive who has led four companies in the enterprise software/software as a service (Saas) sector, the third of which brought the Stone family to Austin five years ago. There are several other important milestones in Jeff’s early personal and professional history but - having been well-coached - he counts meeting Kelly during their MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as the most pivotal. Jeff grew up in the Northeast, graduated from UNH, and is a die-hard Pats fan. When he has to distract himself from a bad season, he turns to other hobbies. Jeff has served on the board of the Austin chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), where he remains an active member. He is also a commercial pilot, lifelong skier, and travel & wine enthusiast.
