Dr. Shailagh Clarke
Upper School Testing Coordinator and Student Support Assistant
Shailagh Clarke joined St. Michael's Prep in 2022. Shailagh is a licensed psychologist who earned a bachelor's degree in Plan II/English Literature from UT Austin. After a few years working as a software technical writer, Shailagh earned a master's and doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining St. Michael's Prep, Shailagh worked as a licensed psychologist providing therapy to children, college students, and adults at Texas Children's Hospital, Oregon State University, and most recently in private practice. In addition to coordinating the PSAT and AP exams for SMP, Shailagh enjoys helping students develop organizational and time management skills. In her spare time, Shailagh likes to spend time with family, read, play tennis, and walk two sweet but very poorly-behaved Great Pyrenees mutts.
