Abby Artmann
Sixth Grade Teacher
Ms. Artmann grew up here in Austin Texas surrounded by the beautiful hill country. Her Grandmother, a former professor at Dallas Baptist University, instilled a deep love of literature in her through reading aloud from classic works. As an undergraduate student at Duke University, she developed a passion for teaching which led to her career in education. She went on to get her M.A. in Teaching while also teaching 6th and 7th grade math full time. After obtaining her Masters, Ms. Artmann went on to teach internationally in Costa Rica. She has taught English Language Arts abroad and here in Texas through an enrichment program in North Austin. Ms. Artmann is thrilled to continue her teaching endeavors at St. Michael's Prep, building students' confidence in writing and developing the same love for literature that was instilled in her!
